Playground Finder is a community service created by Ben and Suzette Hosken. The parents of two young children, they saw a need for a service providing details of playgrounds within their local area as well as when travelling. This idea grew into Playground Finder. [found while eyeballing loobylu]
Man. Just mention the word "playground" and look where people's minds go.

This is a pretty neat idea and I really like it. As my little boy gets bigger and ready to go out to playgrounds to romp, I'll be making use of it.
I wish they had something similar for dogs available. I know there's Dogster but its not so much for the places as for the networking.

Well, oh shit, might have helped to mention its Australian and New Zealand only.
Quite a bit less useful, eh?

Man, my wife and I could really use this - maybe even enough to write one myself.

Only if you're not in Australia or New Zealand.
Or, not a parent.
Or, child sex offender.

Let's see,
Not in Australia or New Zealand? Check.
Not a parent? Nope. Failed that one.
Child sex offender? Nope, failed that one too.
Still not very useful to me.
