Stop doomscrolling, start joyscrolling. Let's enjoy some Vintage Lighting... or a lot of it. Do you like Chandeliers and Pendant Lamps, or Flush Mounts and Ceiling Lamps, or Table Lamps? Possibly even Industrial Lighting is the thing that gets you going. Whatever it is, Vintageinfo – All About Vintage Lighting has you covered.
But wait, there's more. Apart from endless pages and pages of weird, gorgeous, interesting, quirky and delightful lighting implements, there's also a lineup of lighting catalogues, so you can pick your year and manufacturer of choice and pretend you've got a house that needs lighting and you're going to fill it with the best-looking lamps you can find.

When I read the words “vintage lighting” I thought of my houseful of nautical lamps, many of which were electrified by my Dad in the late 40s. The plugs and cords have exceeded their safe lifespan so I’ve been rewiring them and encountering all sorts of weird decaying plastics, funky gutta percha, split sockets, petrifying rubber and more. To sum up: old lights good, old wiring bad.

And why would you ever soil that kitchen with actual food preparation?

The souvenir lamps are pretty great.
Dunno about the Murano Drunk Clown Table Lamp, though.
Maybe needs its own "Cursed Lamps" category.

Vintage lighting can still be pretty affordable compared to other items of their period and a great way to set a tone. I've been collecting for it since my poor college days. Having these quirky and lovely lamps and chandeliers around is very soothing.
