Comic Alyssa Limperis can be the Long Island/New England mom you never had, or perhaps did.

Mom went to the store
Mom on vacation
Mom visits my apartment
Mom helped me move
Mom on Christmas

(Her own mom films the videos.)

Limperis has also done work on love and loss, following her father's death.

She’s great! Funny stuff. I heard her, doing an AOC impression, on James Adomian’s new podcast, The Underculture.

Let's be clear here. That accent has nothing to do with long island.

Yeah parts of the accent were very Boston. Parts were not.

Oooh, that Christmas sweater. I'm not really close to my mum, but that really got me.

This is good.

This is not my mom, but there are definitely enough overlaps with Midwestern Mom to make me laugh.

On her very funny Comedy Bang Bang appearance a few months ago she billed herself as "a mom" (no other name) from Rhode Island, which may explain the accent a little?

This seems like it's clearly descended from this, or at least comes from a similar place, conceptually speaking.

This is a very specific Massachusetts thing. It's not Boston, but it is VERY Massachusetts.

dubitable: yes, she has a very John Roberts-Linda Belcher energy, but without the wine.

Oh OK, turns out Rhode Island. But yes very hyper-regional and this makes me so happy.
